Kings Road Nursery is a purpose built nursery, with extensive covered and open outside areas allowing the children to play in all weathers. We have a large soft-play area which is completely covered with artificial grass. The undercover area follows our continous provision from inside, so the children have access to sand, water, painting and drawing, along with outdoor physical activities such as stacking crates, tricycles, scooters, balls, hoops and large construction blocks. We have a large covered buggy-park, for parents to use to store their buggies, bikes or scooters.

 

Inside we have a spacious hallway which homes our guinea pigs. We have a wall-mounted television which displays monthly photos of the children and activities. All of our policies, procedures and information, along with our weekly menus, are displayed in the hallway. Off of the hallway is the office, Yellow room and cosy room. At the end of the hallway is the dining area, cloakroom and kitchen. From the dining area we can access the busy bees room, Green room and Blue room.
